Live rider tracking, for the owner and the customer

How it works

• Owner map: every rider on shift, when his position last updated, and his trail.
• Customer page: the rider on the map, a rough arrival time and a call button. It opens when the order leaves and closes when it is delivered.
• The rider knows: a bar on his phone says his location is visible to the kitchen, and tracking runs on shift only.
• Retention: rider locations are deleted after 7 days.

When the position stops

Riders work from a browser link, and a browser stops sending location when the phone locks or leaves the page, especially on iPhone. The map then shows the last position and its time, not a guess. The store rider app, which keeps sending location with the phone locked, arrives in March 2027.

Tracking alone is not enough
