Terms of Use
DRAFT: must be reviewed by an Egyptian lawyer before publication. Remove this note only after that review.
1. About these terms
These terms apply to anyone who visits the Ridercrew website or uses any Ridercrew app: restaurant owners and managers, kitchen and dispatch staff, and riders. Ridercrew is operated by [Saif Gomaa / Ridercrew One Person Company, commercial register no. ●], Egypt. By using Ridercrew you accept these terms. A restaurant's paid subscription is also governed by its signed Ridercrew subscription agreement, which prevails over these terms if they differ.
2. What Ridercrew does
Ridercrew lets a restaurant send orders from its kitchen to its own riders, see whether each order was delivered or returned, and keep a cash record for each rider. Ridercrew is a software tool. It does not cook, sell or deliver food, does not employ riders, and does not hold or collect anyone's cash.
3. Accounts and access
- Restaurant accounts are opened by Ridercrew or by the restaurant's owner. The owner decides who gets access and with which role (owner, dispatcher or kitchen, rider).
- Keep your password, rider link and PIN private and do not share them. Tell your restaurant or us straight away if you think someone else has used them.
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Ridercrew.
4. For riders
- Your rider account belongs to the restaurant you work with. The restaurant, not Ridercrew, decides your orders, zone, pay and cash handover, and can turn your access off.
- Safety first: do not use the app while riding. Stop in a safe place before you tap, call or read. Follow traffic rules at all times.
- Location: when you allow it, the app records your location only when you tap picked up, delivered or returned, and, if your restaurant turns on shift tracking, while you are logged in to an active shift. You can turn location off in your phone settings; the app still works. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
- Enter cash, expenses and order status honestly. The cash figures are a record kept for your restaurant; any disagreement about money is between you and your restaurant.
- Use customers' phone numbers and addresses only to deliver their order. Do not save, share or use them for anything else.
5. For restaurants
- You are responsible for the data you enter, for informing your customers and riders as the data protection law requires, and for what your staff and riders do in the app.
- Tickets printed or sent by Ridercrew say «إيصال طلب، ليس فاتورة ضريبية» (Order receipt, not a tax invoice). Ridercrew does not issue tax invoices or e-receipts; your tax documents come from your own registered system.
- Prices, plans, payment, service levels and data processing are set out in your subscription agreement.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Ridercrew to break the law; to track anyone who has not been told; to harass customers or riders; to send spam; to upload harmful code; to try to reach data that is not yours; to overload the service; or to copy, resell or reverse engineer it. We may suspend access that breaks these rules, with notice where reasonable.
7. Website content
Information on the website, including screenshots and prices, is for general information and may change. Screens shown as examples use sample data. The binding prices are those in a signed order form.
8. Intellectual property
The Ridercrew name, logo, apps, software and website belong to Ridercrew. You may use them only to use the service. Data entered by a restaurant belongs to that restaurant.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep Ridercrew available and accurate, but it depends on the internet, phones and third-party services and may sometimes be interrupted. We may update the apps and these terms; we will post changes here with a new date and tell restaurant account holders at least 15 days before a material change.
10. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Ridercrew is provided as it is and is not liable for indirect losses, lost profit, lost orders or cash, or the conduct of restaurants, riders or customers. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or gross error. For restaurants, the liability terms of the subscription agreement apply.
11. Ending use
You can stop using Ridercrew at any time. A rider's access ends when the restaurant turns it off. A restaurant's account ends under its subscription agreement, which also covers exporting and deleting its data.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Egyptian law. We will try to settle any dispute amicably first; otherwise the courts of Cairo have jurisdiction. The Arabic version prevails if the two versions differ.
