Ridercrew / How it works

Ridercrew step by step

From the moment an order is entered to the cash the rider hands over at night, on the real screens.

Same group, same question: how much cash?

And at close you count from the chat and a notebook. Some nights the cash comes up short and nobody remembers why.

Late orders turn red, so you can catch them early

Every order becomes a card on the kitchen screen. Once it runs late it gets a red edge and a minutes-late tag, so the kitchen sees what's behind without anyone asking.

A ticket on the kitchen screen: order #1283 for Lamia, 4 minutes late, grilled chicken rice and mango juice, cash EGP 440, rider Mostafa

The card turns red on its own once an order passes:

  • 25minin the kitchen
  • 10minready, nobody took it
  • 45minon the road
The kitchen board's Preparing and Ready columns: three red cards, order #1283 for Lamia running late, and #1282 and #1285 ready and late

At the door, the rider knows what to collect

The amount is in big type, and if the customer hands over 500 the screen tells him the change. He calls or WhatsApps the customer from the same screen, so he doesn't need to call you to ask.

The rider's screen: order #1281, Fifth Settlement Zone 1, Bldg 38, call, WhatsApp and map buttons, collect EGP 265, if they give 500 give back 235, and the Delivered button

The customer gets a link that says who's bringing it

When the order leaves, you send the customer a link. It opens on any phone and shows how close the order is and which rider is bringing it, with a button to call him. So instead of ringing you a third time, they check the link.

The customer's tracking page: Demo Kitchen, order #1281, your rider is almost there, left with Ahmed at 3:00 pm, a map with your address, and Ahmed is bringing your order with a call button

One order from the night shift:

  1. Entered
  2. Left with Mostafa
  3. Delivered, collected EGP 420

70 short? See which rider, and why

EGP5,020

An example with 4 riders. Every order shows where it came from, and prepaid or delivery-app orders are marked, so they never count as cash the rider owes.

You type what you received, and any shortage shows against the rider's name with its reason written beside it. The rider sees the same number on his phone.

Mahmoud owed 580 and counted 560. The receipt logs the 20 short with the reason you picked, his dispute sits right under it, and the final call is yours.

Rider bought fuel? It waits for your approval

It reaches you with the receipt photo and how far he drove. Islam drove 32 km, about EGP 20, and is claiming 40, so it's flagged as above expected. Approve it and it comes off what he owes; if not, it stays on him, and he sees the decision on his phone.

Each rider's score out of 10, with the numbers behind it

The score comes from his last 100 orders. Orders that ran late or came back for reasons that weren't his fault, like a slow kitchen, don't count against him, and you can see how many on the "Not counted against him" line.

The owner's page for rider Ahmed Fathy: a score out of 10 over the last 100 orders, a line saying any delay caused by the kitchen never counts against him, and 30-day figures: delivered, average delivery time, km out and back, shift hours, and cash handed over

What restaurant and kitchen owners ask

My riders also carry delivery-app and prepaid orders. Will that break the count?

No. Every order shows where it came from, and prepaid orders are marked so the rider doesn't collect. What each rider owes stays right.

Does it connect to our website or the system we use?

Ridercrew runs beside your current POS or system without replacing it. If you want orders from your website or system to arrive on their own, we build that connection during setup for your system, and confirm what connects and when before you start.

Who owns the data?

You own your data and your customers' data, and the contract has a clear data-protection clause. Rider locations are recorded only during a shift and deleted after 7 days, and you can ask for a copy any time.

How does the trial work?

14 days, no payment. We set up one delivery area and a couple of riders with you, and you run real orders on it. If you stay, you pick a plan.

I have more than one branch.

Each branch is billed on the plan that fits it, and from 3 branches there is Chains at EGP 1,500 a branch.
